What is the Manual?

 

The Community Biodiversity Survey Manuals build on NPA's experience in conducting Community Biodiversity Surveys for over 15 years and is the product of a successful partnership between the NPA and the Parks and Wildlife Division of the DECC (NSW).

 

The Condensed Version is appropriate for smaller community groups with limited resources.

 

The Manual is:

 

  • A user friendly guide to planning and implementing a biodiversity survey with community members
  • Designed to ensure that data collected by community groups is suitable for intergration into environmental decision making at all levels of management
