Join us on this scenic 8km walk through magnificent forest, waterfalls and pools with a clean up at the end! Please bring gloves, water, lunch and sun protection.

Bush Regeneration - Sat 07 Mar 9am – 12pm

Lobster Beach, Bouddi National Park

 

Bouddi National Park protects coastal heaths, moors and beaches once typical of the greater Sydney region. However the Spotted Gum forest of Lobster Beach is being invaded by weeds: come help us protect this beautiful area from further devastation. Volunteers to this site will play a significant role in restoring and enhancing the biodiversity of the Bouddi Peninsula.


Work alongside experts from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service to combat weeds and reclaim the land for native plants. No experience required, tools and training provided.

 

 

Lilo Trip- Fri-Sun 6-8 Mar

Colo River

 

Three-day walk and airbed trip. Culoul Range-Boorai Creek-Canoe Creek. Along the way the party will be stopping here and there to check/treat willows, and do follow up treatment on small patches of tree of heaven and cape ivy. Magnificent gorge scenery. For experienced wilderness walkers only, preferably with liloing experience. Limit 8.

 

Biodiversity Survey- Mar 19-22

Breelong National Park, Dubbo

 

Situated on the on the Western plains, near Dubbo, there is currently no biodiversity data available on the park. Newly gazetted, every bit of biodiversity data on the area will assist with its new management plan. This survey is supported by NPWS Dubbo Area. Come and work alongside experts while you discover the adaptations local species have to a drier climate. No previous experience required, tools and training provided.

Combat weeds in Happy Valley, La Perouse. This beautiful oasis needs your help! Join a group of dedicated volunteers for a fun day out helping to preserve this unique coastal area only a few minutes from the city centre.
